Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a double injury blow ahead of this afternoon's Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

The Lilywhites go into the game on the back of a confidence-boosting 4-0 win away against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Giovani Lo Celso, Son Heung-min and Dele Alli were withdrawn in the second half vs Red Star, but for tactical reasons rather than injury.

The Tottenham captain is currently on the sidelines with a dislocated elbow, and is not expected back until the new year.

Spurs have since revealed that the club captain has now undergone surgery on his injured left elbow.

Goals from Giovani Lo Celso, Son Heung-min (x2) and Christian Eriksen gave Mauricio Pochettino's side a comfortable win and put them firmly on course to reach the knockout stages.

Having as many players available for selection will help them to do that, so here's the latest injury news from Tottenham.
