Tottenham Hotspur are yet to recruit anyone but all eyes will be focussed on how Jose Mourinho intends to improve his squad this summer.

Rivaldo identified Spurs as one of three clubs his compatriot would excel at.

He told the Sun: "Coutinho will soon return from his loan at Bayern to Barcelona, but I doubt he can revive his career there.

"His best option could be returning to English football where he spent the best seasons of his career.

"His qualities seem to be best suited, as he proved at Liverpool when was one of the best players in the Premier League.

"At Arsenal, Tottenham or Leicester, Coutinho could be a regular starter next season.

"It would be a good opportunity for the Brazillian to rediscover his best form and show that he continues to be an excellent player who belongs to the elite."

Wilson boost

The Telegraph report that Callum Wilson has informed his friends and teammates of a need to leave Bournemouth this summer.

Wilson netted eight times for the Cherries this season but was unable to prevent them from being relegated to the Championship.

It is good news for Spurs, who have been strongly linked with a move for the player.

Everton have been strongly linked with the midfielder but he has his heart set on a move to Spurs.

The Saints are keen to sell the 24-year-old to the highest bidder and value him at £25m.

Yet Levy views the player as being closer to £15m and is so far refusing to budge due to the fact Hojbjerg has just a year left on his contract.
