It’s been an interesting couple of days in the transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur.

With all the rumors surrounding a potential return to Tottenham for superstar Gareth Bale, something else to watch closely is the future of Real Madrid left back Sergio Reguilon.

Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday that an agreement has been reached between Tottenham and Real Madrid for 30 million euros.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Spurs are “close to agreeing” a permanent transfer for Reguilon from Real Madrid.

But this has certainly been an interesting couple of days and it’s great to see Daniel Levy and Tottenham show some ambition in the transfer window.

Ornstein added that Manchester United had interest in signing the Spain international.

Reguilon has actually only played in 14 games for Real Madrid as he spent last season on loan at Sevilla.
