Tottenham begin their Europa League campaign on Thursday with a trip to Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second qualifying round.

Spurs looked set to progress straight into the group stages after their sixth-place Premier League finish, but Arsenal’s victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup final means that Jose Mourinho’s side must secure their passage with three one-leg qualifiers.

Unfortunately for the Portuguese, his side having been drawn away from home in the first two rounds and the visit to Bulgaria on Thursday begins a potential run of four away games in the space of just eight days – with Southampton and Leyton Orient or Plymouth also on the horizon for Tottenham.

If Spurs do successfully make it into the groups, all of their six matches will be shown live on BT Sport, but their game in Plovdiv won’t be.

However, Tottenham confirmed that the second qualifying round tie will be available to watch live in the UK on Premier Sports 2, with covering getting underway at 4.55pm, just five minutes before kick-off at 5pm.

According to Spurs, new customers can take advantage of a special introductory offer by signing up for just £9.99 for the first two months on Sky and the Premier Player, using the case-sensitive promo code SPURS.
