Mauricio Pochettino has warned his Tottenham side not to take their eye on the ball despite holding a three-goal lead over Borussia Dortmund ahead of the second leg in Germany.

"For me, of course, I'm happy.

Much like in the group stage Spurs were revitalised in the second half and never looked back after Heung-min Son opened the scoring inside 70 seconds of the restart.

Spurs, who reached the knockout stage despite picking up just a point from their first three group games, pulled a similar trick at Wembley on Wednesday after the Bundesliga leaders finished the first half in the ascendency.

As he had done in the group stages, when Kyle Walker-Peters started in the decisive game at Barcelona, Pochettino put his faith in youth against Dortmund.

Of course, 3-0 is a very good result but when you have in front a team like Borussia Dortmund, you always need to respect them.

The most important is when we believe the player deserves to play the name, the experience is not important," Pochettino added.
