Tottenham fans have reacted with frustration at ticket prices for the Champions League home match against Bayern Munich.

Season ticket holders have until Sunday night to buy their seat for the clash on October 1, which has been designated Category A with adult tickets from £52 to £98.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Bayern ticket purchased... £120ish day out: I’ll probably just watch the other 2 on the box and will continue to do that more until the club start giving back.” Chelsea, by contrast, offer a flat rate of £35 per ticket for home group games.

In 2016-17, Spurs offered members the chance to buy all three group games for between £75 and £125 before the draw was made but scrapped the deal last year.

Katrina Law, co-chair of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, said: “We lobbied hard for the reintroduction of the ticket pack.

We don’t agree with any group match being a top-priced Cat A game.” Spurs’ other group games, against Red Star Belgrade and Olympiacos, are Category C.
