Tottenham face huge away trips to Manchester City and Arsenal in the first four matches of next season.

Spurs travel to champions City after hosting newly-promoted Aston Villa on the opening day, with the north London derby at the Emirates Stadium soon afterwards, the two huge clashes separated by a home game against Newcastle.

Better news for Tottenham fans shortly after, with Crystal Palace, Southampton and Watford all visiting the north London side's impressive new stadium and trips to Leicester and Brighton also coming in a run of winnable games.

Mauricio Pochettino will hope his Spurs side can challenge for the Premier League next term

The first reunion with Champions League final winners Liverpool comes at Anfield on October 26 - with the return fixture January 11.

With the first north London derby coming early, Arsenal's trip to the new Spurs ground on April 25 could prove crucial for Champions League qualification.

Fellow London rivals Chelsea face a festive debut at the new ground four days before Christmas while Tottenham travel to Stamford Bridge on February 22.

That first clash with the Blues is the only really tough test in a festive schedule which could have Tottenham fans singing at Christmas.

Other than Chelsea, Tottenham host Burnley and Brighton around Christmas with trips to Wolves, Norwich and Southampton in a run in which Pochettino will be targeting close to maximum points.

Tottenham finished fourth in the Premier League - a point ahead of rivals Arsenal

Tottenham's 2018-19 campaign was a mixed affair on and off the pitch.

Spurs were expected to have been playing at their new home during the early part of the season but constant delays saw the club eventually move in April - winning 2-0 against Crystal Palace on their house-warming.

On the pitch, Spurs finished fourth in the Premier League - despite losing 13 games.

Having ended the season as beaten finalists in the Champions League, Spurs supporters will hope their side can push on domestically too and challenge for the title.
