The report adds that Tottenham had identified the midfielder as a replacement for Mousa Dembele.

The report adds that the Ligue 1 giants will splash €75m for the 21-year-old and his former club, Willem II, will receive 15% of the transfer fee.

De Jong is one of the brightest talents in Europe and has been linked with clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
