Spurs will come up against Man City in the Champions League quarter-finals in April after the draw was made in Switzerland on Friday morning.

Spurs' last victory against City came during October 2016 in Pep Guardiola's first season in England as they ran out 2-0 winners at White Hart Lane, with the reigning Premier League champions winning the last three meetings between the sides in the league.

Having beaten Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate in the previous round of the competition to reach the final eight, the Lilywhites are going to have to be at their very best if they are to progress to the semi-finals come the start of May.

There are always big shocks in the Champions League and Harry Kane and Co will be hoping they are still within a shot of European glory come May.

With many hoping to draw either Porto or Ajax in the final eight, plenty of supporters will have wanted the team to avoid City, Liverpool and Manchester United going on the club's record in European competitions against English opposition.
