The CIES Football Observatory have rated Dybala's value at €108.2m (£99m).

It wasn't to be for Tottenham Hotspur and Paulo Dybala as a Deadline Day move for the Juventus forward collapsed.

The 25-year-old's stock has decreased over the last 12 months but he would still be a superb buy for any of the big European clubs, if utilised correctly.

Whilst it's unclear if Daniel Levy would have still completed a deal for Giovani Lo Celso had the Dybala deal been confirmed, the chairman also sanctioned deals for Tanguy Ndombele, Jack Clarke and Ryan Sessegnon this summer, regardless.

Adding another £100m outlay on top of those figures would have been one of the biggest summer spends in the club's history and certainly something for Spurs fan to get excited about.

The one that got away.

Some of the biggest clubs in Europe are still on the hunt for new players and should Neymar leave Paris Saint-Germain, Dybala could be a target for the French champions.
