Tottenham have a 75 per cent chance of finishing in the top four this season, a supercomputer has revealed.

According to the supercomputer, one of either Manchester City or Liverpool will win the title, with City having a 55 per cent chance of being crowned champions, while Liverpool have a 45 per cent chance.



The supercomputer, which was built by football.london’s specialist data unit, has the sole purpose in life of predicting the league.

The Premier League has been predicted 5,000 times, and Spurs have finished either third or fourth in 75 per cent of them.

Spurs' north London rivals Arsenal are the next most likely with a 68 per cent chance, followed by Manchester United (31 per cent chance) and Chelsea (26 per cent chance).

It has simulated the result of every remaining match, using each club’s Elo rating - a way of measuring a team’s overall strength - as a guide.
