Spurs will need to spring a surprise in the Champions League if they are to make it through to the semi-finals following Friday's draw in Switzerland.

The Champions League tie means that the teams will meet three times in the space of nine days with the Premier League match taking place at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, April 20.

City are still on track for a famous quadruple and FiveThirtyEight's supercomputer has them down as the team most likely to win the Champions League final in Madrid at the start of June.

Mauricio Pochettino's side had a 38% chance of reaching the semi-finals ahead of the Friday's draw, but they now only have a 20% chance after drawing the league leaders.

Pep Guardiola's side are the favourites to win the competition and they will be looking to go one stage further than last year after Liverpool knocked them out on their way to the final.

Manchester United are also another team that have seen their chances of advancing to the final four drop after drawing Barcelona in the quarter-finals.
