According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in joining the race to sign wanted Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon amid reports linking him with a move to Man United – and manager Jose Mourinho is allegedly a huge admirer of the Spaniard.

Should Spurs compete with Man United to sign Reguilon?

Spurs fans, should your club try to sign Reguilon?

Chairman Daniel Levy would apparently be able to meet his £25m price, with recent rumours indicating that manager Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the youngster.

Specifically, the Daily Mail report that both Man United and Tottenham are showing a firm interest in the 23-year-old who doesn’t seem to have a future at the Bernabeu – with the Galacticos valuing his services at around £25 million.

Indeed, as per this update, Spurs are on the hunt for a new left-back as an alternate option to Wales international Ben Davies – and the Lilywhites are now contemplating a swoop for the ‘excellent’ Reguilon alongside United.

Diario AS, via Sport Witness, wrote that Spurs’ boss had ‘personally’ phoned the left-back in an attempt to sway him with a move to north London – potentially trying to get an edge over his former club in the race for Reguilon’s signature.
