Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has joined Championship club Milwall on a season-long loan for the 2020/21 campaign.

The 18-year-old has broken into the first team at Spurs this season, but has made just four first team appearances, with two of them coming in the Premier League.

The Republic of Ireland international has had a prolific season at youth level, scoring six time in four UEFA Youth League appearances, three times in his two Premier League 2 appearances and twice in his one FA Youth Cup appearance.

That form has prompted teams to show an interest in taking the forward on a temporary contract ahead of next season.

It was confirmed on Saturday that in a search for more first-team experience, Parrott has joined Millwall, a club that Harry Kane played at during a loan spell away from Tottenham.

After completing the move, Parrott spoke of his delight.

"I'm buzzing to get straight into things, I'm really looking forward to it," he told the club’s official website.

The crowd, the club itself - I've heard a lot of good things. When I've watched games, the littlest of things gets them going, and I want to be a part of something like that.
