Daniel James may not have worked under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United but the Reds winger got up, close and personal with the Portuguese manager on Wednesday night.
Mourinho, making his first return since being sacked by United, was stood on the touchline motivating his Tottenham players when James, fouled by Harry Winks, stumbled towards the technical areas.
The Welshman was unable to halt his momentum as he fell at the feet of Mourinho, clattering into his knee and then falling down the ramp that leads up to the Old Trafford pitch.

The collision left an impression on Mourinho as he was seen clutching his right leg after players were helped back on their feet and back to the pitch.
There was plenty of anticipation ahead of Mourinho's return as he arrived with a 100 per cent record since taking over at Tottenham.
Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United last year following a dismal end to his tenure.
But his successor, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is himself now under pressure with both sides struggling to make up positions to reach the top four.
