With Heung-min Son, Christian Eriksen, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela at Mauricio Pochettino’s disposal, Perisic isn’t needed.

According to Tuttosport (h/t Sport Witness), Tottenham are leading the race to sign Ivan Perisic.

It’s hard to see Tottenham signing the winger this summer as a result.

He also wouldn’t come cheap as he has three-and-a-half years on his deal with the Nerazzurri, so they have no reason to let him go for cheap – CIES value him at £46.6m Perisic hasn’t been in any form this season either, scoring just three goals and making only two assists in 20 Serie A games.

Manchester United and Arsenal are two sides who have been frequently linked with the Croatian international, but Tuttosport believe he’s nailed on to join Tottenham.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from Inter Milan despite being a regular at the San Siro.

Perisic was reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League during the January transfer window and is hoping he’ll be able to make the switch this summer.
