Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Marcus Rashford can touch the bar set by ?Tottenham star and his England team-mate, Harry Kane.

The young United forward has been in superb form since Solskjaer's appointment, netting three goals in five appearances under the Norwegian.

Following four successive ?Premier League wins under the Norwegian, Manchester United find themselves only six points adrift of a ?Champions League spot.

The club great, who oversaw a warm weather training camp in Dubai following the Red Devils' win over Reading in the FA Cup, feels that Rashford's graduation from the Red Devils' famed youth academy makes the England international even more likely to succeed.

"He can become a top, top striker," said Solskjaer, ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Tottenham, as quoted by FourFourTwo.

"He's been brought up here so there were a couple of sessions with the young kids," the Man United caretaker boss added.

A win over Tottenham on Sunday will not only boost their points tally but will also give them a fair bit of confidence going into the business end of the season.
