Mauricio Pochettino has reminded Tottenham's rivals of the difficulty in negotiating with Daniel Levy but claims he had an advantage over the chairman in contract talks last year.

Levy is renowned as one of football's toughest negotiators and Sir Alex Ferguson, the former Manchester United boss, famously said dealings with the Spurs chief were more painful than his hip replacement.
