Mauricio Pochettino has teased potential interest in taking over at Manchester United or Real Madrid in the near future, insisting "England and Spain are the two best leagues in the world" as he made a public appearance in London on Wednesday night.

Pochettino was in attendance alongside his wife, Karina, as well as former Spurs assistant manager Jesus Perez, as well as ex-goalkeeping coach Toni Jiminez, per football.

The Argentine has rarely been spotted on British shores since being sacked by Spurs in November, having enjoyed time away from the game.

All the while, the 47-year-old remains linked with taking over the Manchester United and Real Madrid jobs.

Both positions are occupied by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Zinedine Zidane respectively, but Pochettino has been tipped to take over at Old Trafford or the Bernabeu throughout his managerial career.

Now, the highly-rated tactician has offered a hint on where his next job may be.

"I am now trying to watch a lot of football and spend time with my family. It's good that I'm free for the next two weeks wants Ed Woodward to step away from anything football at all and funds to be made available for purchases."
