Manchester United were spotted arriving home late on Sunday following their 1-0 win over Tottenham at Wembley.

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men and has now hit the back of the net in three consecutive Premier League matches.

However, the England international was not the centre of attention as the Red Devils arrived back at Stockport train station on Sunday.

Goalkeeper David De Gea was the main attraction following a superb display that saw the Spaniard make 11 saves as he maintained his clean sheet.

And one autograph hunter couldn’t keep their eyes off the 28-year-old as he walked out of the ticket hall.

De Gea looked calm under the scrutiny while the supporter attempted to take a quick selfie with the United stopper.

Solskjaer also received plenty of attention and was asked to sign a replica 1998/99 Premier League shirt.

The interim manager has won all six of his matches in charge at Old Trafford since taking over from Jose Mourinho last month.

Speaking about De Gea’s performance after the match, Solskjaer said: “David was unbelievable.

“We've had some great goalkeepers and he's challenging Edwin [van der Sar] and Peter [Schmeichel] for the No 1 spot historically.

“I've played with a few fantastic goalkeepers, we have a tradition of having them and he has grown and grown.

“David deserves that man of the match.”

Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard and Luke Shaw were some of the other players spotted at the station as the squad headed home following their win.

United have drawn level on points with Arsenal but remain sixth in the Premier League, 16 points off the pace of table-toppers Liverpool.

Up next for the Red Devils is the visit of Brighton before they travel to the Emirates to face the Gunners in the FA Cup Fourth Round.

A kind run of Premier League fixtures follows before United host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16.
