Tottenham Hotspur made the trip to Old Trafford earlier this evening to face Manchester United, and manager Jose Mourinho was looking to put his former side to the sword in his first return since his sacking.

Spurs are now unbeaten in five and tonight could see Jose’s fourth win on the spin, and it would be our third top flight win in a row and should he achieve that, he’ll become the first manager to do so in his opening games in charge.

It wasn’t a great start as the hosts had the lead six minutes into the match, but five minutes from the half time break Dele Alli found the net once again to tie the scores up.

A slow start to the second period saw Moussa Sissoko adjudged to have fouled Marcus Rashford, and he completed his brace from the penalty spot four minutes in.

We couldn’t get the leveller so Jose tastes his first defeat and fans will again be looking for defensive improvements.
