Former Tottenham midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he didn’t do enough while at the club.

Boateng has represented more than 10 clubs in his eventful career including Milan and Barcelona but has won just five major trophies in all.

“I bought three cars in one day when I was at Tottenham: a Lamborghini, a Hummer and a Cadillac.” Boateng had all the skills to be a star at Tottenham, but things never clicked for the Ghana international at White Hart Lane.

The Ghana international had stints at Portsmouth, AC Milan and is now Fiorentina.

The 32-year-old came to Tottenham as a player with a lot of promise, but the midfielder told La Repubblica that he didn’t make use of his talents back then (h/t Evening Standard): “I’ll go back and say: I didn’t treat football as a job.

The 32-year-old seems to have realised what his mistakes were while at Spurs, and hopefully, he is enjoying his football now.

I had talent, but I trained the bare minimum, an hour on the field.
