Tottenham Hotspur have agreed deals with Real Madrid to bring Gareth Bale back to the English Premier League on loan, and to sign Sergio Reguilon on a full transfer.

Both Bale and Reguilon were made available for transfer by Madrid on the instruction of Zinedine Zidane.

Having moved rapidly to secure a club-to-club agreement with Madrid for the Wales and Spain internationals, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is now working on persuading the two players to accept personal terms.

The best striker in England.

Bale, now 31 and still one of the highest paid players in the game, joined Madrid from Tottenham for a then-record transfer fee of €100million in 2013.

And both have been offered to Manchester United, who are looking to recruit on the right wing and at left back, but have prioritised the transfer of England international Jadon Sancho in the current transfer window.

"I want, I need a striker," Mourinho said last week.
