Former Arsenal and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is stuck in Benin due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Adebayor represented Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, scoring 97 goals.

Everyone should do what they can to stop coronavirus spreading.

Speaking to the local media, he said: “My quarantine in Lome [the capital of Togo], like in Benin, is to feel at home, it doesn’t bother me at all.” It read: “Emmanuel Adebayor made the decision to return to his country to spend the government-declared quarantine time.

However, isolation protocol means he is unable to leave Benin for at least 15 days.

However, a stopover in Benin means he now has to self-isolate for 15 DAYS in a hotel.

The 36-year-old left Paraguay, where he plays for Olimpia, with the intention to be with his family in Togo.
