According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are interested in Aleksandar Mitrovic as backup to Harry Kane.

The Fulham striker has impressed in the Premier League this season and would be a good secondary option in attack for Mauricio Pochettino.

After scoring 12 goals in 17 Championship games on loan with the Cottagers last season, Mitrovic turned the move permanent after helping them get promoted to the Premier League.

Mitrovic is an upgrade on Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen, but the Daily Mail believe he might not want to join a side that can’t promise him first-team football.

Fulham paid £22m to procure his signature last summer and the 24-year-old has risen in value in eight months.

Relegation could see the striker request a move elsewhere, but Fulham still hold the cards.

Fulham look destined for relegation, but the Serbian international has still scored and created 12 goals in 30 games.
